We use PostHog (self-hosted on EU servers) to collect anonymised usage data:
- Page views and feature interactions (e.g., calculator button clicks, share events)
- Browser type, device type, and approximate geographic region (country-level only)
- Referral source (how you found the site)
PostHog is configured to not collect IP addresses. User IDs are anonymous, random strings stored in your browser’s localStorage — not linked to any personal identifier.
Affiliate links
Clicking an affiliate link (e.g., through CJ Affiliate) may set a tracking cookie from the partner network. These cookies are set by the affiliate network, not by us, and we do not have access to them. You can disable cookie tracking in your browser settings.
2. How We Use Data

Our calculator stores your inputs (breed, weight, age, activity level, diet) in your browser’s localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We use no third-party cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

- Deletion — request removal of your data from our analytics
